Cancellation policy

This policy sets out the terms of Drainae subscriptions and forms part of our Terms of Sale.

1. Drainae drops subscription

How it works: when you choose the subscription, you receive the selected bundle (1, 3 or 5 bottles) every 2 months, at the subscriber price (25% off the one-time price), until you cancel.
Billing: your first delivery is charged at checkout; each following delivery is automatically charged to your saved payment method on the billing date, at the current subscriber price. You expressly authorize these recurring charges by checking the subscription consent box at checkout.
Reminder: we email you at least 7 days before each charge with the date, the amount and a link to manage your subscription.
Minimum commitment and early cancellation fee: the subscriber price is granted in exchange for a minimum commitment of 2 deliveries. If you cancel before your 2nd delivery ships, an early cancellation fee applies. It is strictly equal to the discount you received on the delivery or deliveries already received, i.e. the difference between the one-time price of the bundle and the subscriber price paid (for example, for a 3-bottle bundle: €110.85 − €83.14 = €27.71, or the equivalent in your currency). The fee is charged to your saved payment method upon cancellation. No fee applies after your 2nd delivery, if you exercise a statutory right of withdrawal, if you use the money-back guarantee on your first order, or if you cancel because of a failure on our part.
Pause, skip, change: you can skip a delivery, change bundle or pause at any time from your customer account. Pausing or skipping is not a cancellation and never triggers a fee.

2. Drainae app

Free access: lifetime access included with certain bundles is not a subscription and is never charged.
Free trial: when a free trial is offered, it is free for the stated period (e.g. 1 month or 14 days). Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts into a paid subscription at the price shown at sign-up (e.g. €9.90/month or €25.99/year), charged to your saved payment method. We send a reminder before the trial ends. One free trial per person, household and payment method.
Annual plan: billed in advance for 12 months and renewed automatically for 12 months at the current price unless cancelled at least 48 hours before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the renewal; access remains active until the end of the paid period. The current annual period is non-refundable, except where required by law.

3. How to cancel

You can cancel at any time, free of charge and in a few clicks, from "Manage subscription" in your customer account, or by writing to us via our contact form or at contact@drainae.co with your account email address. Cancellation must be made at least 48 hours before the next billing date to avoid the next charge; otherwise the delivery already prepared and charged will ship and remains due. You receive a cancellation confirmation email stating any early cancellation fee.

4. Price and terms changes

Any change to the price or terms of your subscription is notified by email at least 30 days before it applies. You may then cancel free of charge before it takes effect, including during the minimum commitment period.

5. Failed payments

If a charge fails, we may retry it over the following days and ask you to update your payment method. Without regularization, the subscription is suspended. Amounts still owed (shipped deliveries, early cancellation fees) remain payable and may be referred to a collection agency.

6. Refunds

Subscription renewals are not covered by the money-back guarantee, which applies to the first order only. Forgetting to cancel does not entitle you to a refund of a delivery already shipped. Statutory withdrawal rights and warranties still apply to each delivery as described in the Terms of Sale.

7. US automatic renewal disclosures

For US residents: your subscription continues until you cancel; you will be charged the amounts and at the frequency described above; you can cancel online at any time from your account. We provide the notices and confirmations required by applicable state automatic renewal laws.
